John M. Price Ph.D.
John is an experienced Start-up Entrepreneur and Senior Technical Manager with a history of leading teams to develop innovative products and technologies. His passion is working with exceptional people on projects that involve both hardware and software. He is the Co-Founder of Dígame Systems.
John earned his Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from U.C. Berkeley and holds a B.S. degree from the University of Arizona in Chemistry and a B.A. in Philosophy.
He is the author of 26 peer reviewed scientific publications and inventor on 13 US and International Patents.
Previous Positions Include:
Co-Founder of Thinkify, LLC, an RFID hardware and software company focused on applications in rail, vehicle tracking, and public health. Thinkify grew from a two-member start-up to be an RFID hardware supplier to Fortune 100 companies including, Union Pacific Rail and NXP Corporation. John sold his interest in the company in 2014 to found Digame Systems.
Senior Director of Software Engineering, Alien Technology Corporation. While at Alien, John led the software / firmware team through the development of a number of award-winning RFID reader products. These ranged from hand-held devices for Government-funded programs to Enterprise-Class RFID platforms for massive retailers including Wal-Mart and Target Corporation. During this time, John served on the international standards committees that produced the EPC Global Gen2 specification — the standard in use today throughout the retail supply chain for communicating with RFID tags.
Senior Research Scientist and Technical Group Leader, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL). John ran a team of Engineers, Scientists and Technicians to develop new research instrumentation for the science teams at PNNL’s Environmental Molecular Sciences Laboratory. His group developed cutting-edge instrumentation in support of the Lab’s mission to advance the Environmental and Biological Sciences. While at PNNL he held an Adjunct Faculty position at the University of Washington in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.

His career focus has been on the development of IoT Products and services.
Jim Mravca
Jim is an executive with the ability to set and execute organic and acquisition growth strategy year over year. He has well-established expertise with startups and large public companies in national and international markets. He has held senior management positions in business development, marketing, engineering and operations at Fortune 500, mid-size public and start-up corporations.
Jim possesses strong abilities in new product definition and market introduction for next generation products. He is able to set strategy in predicting when a technology moves from an idea with potential to one that will generate significant revenues. Jim has led his company’s business development initiatives for revenue growth and profitability improvement. He has managed teams in marketing, engineering and operations. Jim has a BSEE from University of Illinois and a MSEM from Stanford.
Today, Jim is a VP of Business Development at Dígame Systems. He has over 25 years of management experience with expertise in systems, hardware and software technology for wireless communications, industrial, consumer electronics, social media and defense markets. Jim is accomplished in developing and communicating clear value propositions, developing successful sales strategies and building businesses.

General Manager of Radio Technology Supplier, VP Marketing at GTronix (acquired by National Semiconductor), VP Marketing at GainSpan, VP Marketing at Motia (acquired by private equity), EVP Marketing WJ Communications (acquired by Triquint Semiconductor), $3.5B valuation post IPO with acquisition exit, VP Engineering at Watkins-Jonson Company. Led MBO to create spinoff that became WJ Communications. Contracted with several other SaaS, Wireless, Automotive and Semiconductor companies.
